On the celebration of Earth day 2014, Google has arrived with six animated doodles sketching some species. The doodles illustrated these species in their unique environment in a colorful way.

Google's animated doodle symbolizes the species' natural habitats and the seriousness of their preservation. The message shown here is effective as well as communicated very well that humans will need to protect mother nature for these types of species to survive for the future generations.
In the first doodle, a Rufous Hummingbird flutters whereas two flowers made the position of the two Os in Google. You will need to click on the doodle for the next doodle to show up as a slide show. The second doodle displays two Japanese macaques shivering in snow and substituting the two Os of the word Google. This is accompanied by a moon jellyfish going up in water replacing one 'O'.

The next doodle contains a spinning and bloated puffer fish, then followed by veiled chameleon that camouflages to reveal the Google logo that it partially covers. Lastly, a dung beetle is displayed moving a dung-ball larger than its own size.

Earth Day is observed in more than 192 countries every year to show support for the environment protection. The Earth Day celebration was first started in 1970. The first Earth Day family received participants and individuals in 2,000 universities and colleges throughout the United States of America, and approximately 10,000 primary and secondary educational institutions. It helped bring 20 million Americans to come out in to the spring sunlight for the peaceful demos in preference of environment development.
It is a good initiative by Google to celebrate Earth day 2014 in this way with animated doodles of Rufous humming bird, Japanese macaque, Dung beetle, Moon jellyfish, Puffer fish and Veiled chameleon.
